Jamaican-born Vincent HoSang and Sabrina HoSang-Jordan of Caribbean Food Delights Win Entrepreneur of the Year Award New York

​Jamaican-born Vincent HoSang and his daughter, Sabrina HoSang-Jordan, are among this year's winners of Ernst and Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award New York  for "inspiring innovation without limitation and fueling growth and prosperity by being truly unstoppable.” The event was held on June 20, 2019 at the Marriott Marquis in New York.

​Caribbean Food Delights is the leading Caribbean frozen food manufacturer of Jamaican-style patties in North America. The company was founded by Vincent and Jeanette HoSang in 1978 in the Bronx after migrating to the U.S. from Jamaica. The company is now headquartered at a 103,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Tappan, New York which has the capacity to manufacture in excess of 40,000 patties per hour.  Products are available at Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, BJ’s, Costco, Price Rite, HEB and Publix, Winn Dixie and Harris Teeter Supermarkets, local grocery stores and Commissaries worldwide. An affiliate of Royal Caribbean Bakery, the company received a $2.25 million state Regional Economic Development Council grant to expand its company operations in 2018.

​As regional award winners, the Hosangs are now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards.  Award winners in several national categories, as well as the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced at the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 16, 2019. The awards are the culminating event of the Strategic Growth Forum®, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies. The Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner then moves on to compete for the EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Award.
