Jamaican-born truck driver David “Dave” Johnson, 56, is the winner of $298.3 million, the second-largest Powerball jackpot in New York state history. The winning numbers 05, 25, 38, 52 and 67, with Powerball 24 were quick-picked by the computer inside the minimart at a gas station in Brooklyn. Johnson has chosen to take the lump sum of $180 million which amounts to approximately $114 million after taxes. He plans to quit his job, buy his family a new home, and treat himself to a red Porsche. We wish him the best with his new fortune! Comments are closed.
